This little bag is in my Leather Samples Collection — a range created using leather swatches rescued from old sample books. Each square of leather is crocheted together by hand, forming a patchwork of colour, texture and history that could never be repeated.
This version blends blues and greys, with softly padded squares that give a lovely puffy, tactile feel. The pieces are joined with wool, adding warmth and a relaxed, handmade character.
Inside, the bag is lined with denim from old jeans (because good fabric deserves a second life), and there’s a small zipped pocket for keys or cards.
The adjustable grey webbing strap allows for shoulder or crossbody wear, while the boxy rectangular shape keeps things neat and practical. Secured with a flap and internal zip, it’s just the right size for basic essentials — casual, comfortable, and perfect with jeans.
A thoughtful, easy-going bag making sustainable use of materials.
